Retaining Wall at UCCS Alpine Village

The UCCS Village at Alpine Valley is a modern, scenic residential area located on the north end of campus, designed primarily for first-year students but also offering apartment-style living for upper-class students. 

The UCCS Alpine Village retaining walls, constructed for a Kiewit project, support a steep hillside housing development by utilizing a design-build approach. They feature terraced, hand-stacked stone or large slabs to create functional outdoor spaces and integrate with natural landscaping like bluffs and arroyos. Concrete work performed by Araco Group LLC.
